Other than the affiliate thing which we have already discussed (and admitted my ignorance about that), I am at a loss for why I am banned.

If you don’t want people giving level responses about Opera when others bring it up, then I wish you would just make Opera not allowable discussion material altogether at Mozillazine.

I never said that. Do not put words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say it was wrong for you to defend Opera. Nobody said that. You guys need to stop putting words in our mouths. You’ve misbehaved in the past on the forums and on IRC, and the referral link was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. That is why you were banned. Stop this bullshit free speech hero story.

It is your Mozillazine Forum and can do what you wish, obviously. I just would have liked some forewarning rather than a sudden ban.

I understand that you don’t want Opera filling up the forum — it is understandable. But, again, I don’t start the threads (rarely did I ever start a thread) — I just contribute clarifications where I feel it is only right to make a proper assertation about Opera’s capabilities and attractiveness.

My opinions are okay, but not my behavior? I don?t fully understand that. My behavior of making consecutive posts? Again, it was the easiest way for me to respond to a multi-point thread begun by an avowed anti-Opera crusader.

The multi-posting thing is more of a warnable offence than bannable (at least, IMO, but since you had made an infraction in the past, you’re more prone to punishment). The referral link is. Plus, your ban time isn’t up yet. (Someone unbanned you by mistake, then someone did it again, I think)
