Maybe you could give a message to the senders that I cannot access my messages, perhaps? Thanks.

I don't know who sent you your message. I can't read other users PMs.

I think we've about exhausted this matter. Closing comments.

Nosebleed:

I keep getting messages like this which I cannot access at all. Is there anyway for me to see these messages? Maybe you could give a message to the senders that I cannot access my messages, perhaps? Thanks.

I am not trying to cause hate or discontent in Mozillazine, Tristor. I am only trying to clarify wrong assertions made about Opera at Mozillazine in a gentlemanly way. If correcting wrong statements made about Opera at Mozillazine causes hate or discontent, what can I do about that?

Let me give you a short and general definition of trolling. But first, let me point out what trolling is not. Trolling is not stating an opinion people disagree with, or even something that pisses somebody off. No, trolling is being dense, purposely trying cause hate and discontent within the setting of an online community. Such as what you are doing right now. I have read through all the comments on here, and I for some reason don't get the idea that you are 'getting it' so to speak, either that, or you are purposely just trying to piss Nosebleed off.

You say I misbehaved routinely earlier and now agree that I am not rude to people or vulgar or demeaning.

Other than the affiliate thing which we have already discussed (and admitted my ignorance about that), I am at a loss for why I am banned.

If you don't want people giving level responses about Opera when others bring it up, then I wish you would just make Opera not allowable discussion material altogether at Mozillazine.

How can I reason with you when you are so vulgar now?

Yeah, ok. Let's just concentrate on me being "vulgar" instead of the actual point.

I would think it is common sense that Mozillazine would not want every other thread discussing Opera.

Perhaps I am wrong about that? I doubt it.

We rarely get threads about opera, so why should we be afraid of that happening?

As far as misbehavior, I have not ?raped? anybody?s Firefox logo in response to an anti-Opera rant. But raping an Opera logo with Firefox-logo stick men is on the forum. ? I am not rude to people or vulgar or demeaning to people at all.

I never said you were, again, stop putting words in my mouth. I am tired of repeating myself like a broken record. If you don't get it by now, I should just stop replying to you.

I would say the same thing in reverse about Opera Forums. They would not want every other thread there discussign Firefox I am quite confident.

I understand that you don?t want Opera filling up the forum

I never said that. Do not put words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say it was wrong for you to defend Opera. Nobody said that. You guys need to stop putting words in our mouths. You've misbehaved in the past on the forums and on IRC, and the referral link was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. That is why you were banned. Stop this bullshit free speech hero story.

Well, thank you for your time.

I've stated my feeling about this.

You have listened and responded which is better than I had been getting from the email I sent asking for clarification.

It is your Mozillazine Forum and can do what you wish, obviously. I just would have liked some forewarning rather than a sudden ban.

I understand that you don't want Opera filling up the forum -- it is understandable. But, again, I don't start the threads (rarely did I ever start a thread) --- I just contribute clarifications where I feel it is only right to make a proper assertation about Opera's capabilities and attractiveness.

Again, thank you for your time.

My opinions are okay, but not my behavior? I don?t fully understand that. My behavior of making consecutive posts? Again, it was the easiest way for me to respond to a multi-point thread begun by an avowed anti-Opera crusader.

The multi-posting thing is more of a warnable offence than bannable (at least, IMO, but since you had made an infraction in the past, you're more prone to punishment). The referral link is. Plus, your ban time isn't up yet. (Someone unbanned you by mistake, then someone did it again, I think)

That's what I know about it.
