Semi f-ed up

As usual, nothing ever goes the way I planned it.
Friday night, I get home from the mall to find out that my parents were fighting while I was out, and my mom is being a TOTAL MENTAL BITCH as usual whining, and being an attention whore, but shying away when she gets it. And my […]

Firefox hits 50 million downloads

Firefox and the Mozilla community hit a historical milestone today. Fifty million downloads! To celebrate it, The SpreadFirefox team is running a contest to see who can do the most unique stunt to promote firefox. Among the prizes, the winners will each recieve a commemorative 50 million downloads coin. Also, the lucky person that downloaded […]

Need money

I need to find another job or something… Something that pays better. My current job is fine, I just need to be driven more, I need more responsibility. I need to be paid better.
Anyway, I have a full plate for this weekend, so I won’t be blogging much. I will blog on what apartments I […]

Oversleeping and anti-zealotry

I hate over sleeping… especially, when I wake up, look at the clock, and get pissed off at it because I have to get up *NOW* to avoid being late for work. Hmm, maybe I should sleep earlier
Also, I can’t stand opera zealots (you know, the ones that fluff up everytime you say something bad […]

Update and stuff

So, we straightened things out with the landlord, so I can live in the hellhole for a little while.
This weekend, I’m going apartment-hunting with a friend. I need to open a bank account soon too… probably Wachovia, they’re a good bank.

Message of Hope

I’ve shed many tears, and stressed myself to the point of unhealthiness these past couple days…
Whatever happens, I need to concentrate on getting myself into a vehicle, and finding a place to live on my own and a better-paying job.
It’s going to definitely be hard, but the end result is worth it.

One thing after another

Woohoo (sarcasm)! more bad news!
The other day, my dad got a notice from the sheriff (I guess sheriff’s do these things now) that we’re getting evicted. I don’t know if we’ve been evicted before, and I didn’t know about it… but if we don’t get caught up on rent (which is like $800-$900 or something), […]

Mitchell Baker on Charlie Rose

The Mozilla Foundation’s Chief Lizard Wrangler Mitchell Baker was on Charlie Rose tonight. It was a decent (albeit, short) interview. I think Rose could have focused more on the firefox browser, though, rather than going into general open source topics. But, nevertheless, good to see mozilla and firefox getting more publicity. Check your local listings […]

Bad

OK, I’ll go on a rant another time… but for now, but today was a pretty bad day…. I’m not going to go into details right now, but at a later time, I will. Some of you might already know what it’s about…

Wordpress theme #2?

I’m working on another WordPress theme, and you are probably seeing it right here. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions. I’m at version 0.03 and the first relase will be 0.1.
Tentative to-do list

Fix footer
Fix title links (or re-do them)
Move the search bar up to the header (Make it work in IE (Ugh!), Opera, etc.)
Style […]

Fnuny Spma

Hi.
Yeah, I’m working on the redesign of this site. However, due to other priorities at the moment it will take some time.
In the meanwhile, I’d like to share with you a couple of funny spams I recieved. Screenshots below

Wha?

Yeah, you might be wondering “What’s the deal with the theme default-ness.” I’m basically going to overhaul this site look based on a new WordPress theme I’m making. For now, just bear with me if something breaks or doesn’t look right. Eventually, everything will be running fine once I’m done!

Stuff

I bought a notepad to write down goals and ideas. I’m happy to at least have some money, although I’m sure the creditors are closing in soon to take it.
Also, why do I feel weird that my blog gets more hits/google results than my home page? I guess it’s because this is the only thing […]

R.I.P. Mitch

Sucks to hear about Mitch Hedberg’s death. Although I didn’t follow him as much as some people, I thought he was a great comedian with a unique style. I had described him once as “Stephen Wright on pot.” Interestingly, this Baltimore Sun article on the subject, Stephanie Drummond, producer of a local Baltimore morning radio […]
